The Practice
When a great design project closes, the designer leaves and the house begins its real life. Vendors arrive unmanaged. Small repairs wait. The punch list never quite ends, and the standard the home was finished to begins, quietly, to slip.
Mistry & Co. manages the working life of the household — the maintenance calendar, the trades and vendors, the repairs, the seasonal turns, the hundred small decisions a serious home asks for — so the home performs the way it was designed to, and its principals never have to carry it themselves.
The Cap
This is not a waiting-list tactic. It is the design of the firm. Home management fails when it scales, because the product is attention — and attention does not scale. Twenty households is the most one principal can know completely: every boiler, every vendor, every preference, every key. If the firm ever grows, it grows by adding a principal who carries their own twenty — never by stretching the attention your home receives. Today, the firm's one principal is its founder.
The Founder
Mistry & Co. is led by its founder, Jugal Mistry, after years with Roll & Hill on the supplier side of high-end residential interiors — the rooms where designers, makers, and installers decide how exceptional homes come together, and where it becomes obvious what happens to those homes when no one is appointed to keep them.
The firm is founder-operated by design. The person you meet is the person who answers.
Correspondence
Ahead of 2027, the firm accepts a limited number of bounded engagements —
seasonal home audits and post-project closeouts — by referral.
Founding households will be selected in 2027.
